Yoga For Beginners
This is the class to get you started. 1 hour and 30 minutes of gentle Hatha yoga, includes postures, breathing techniques, basic meditation and relaxation. Yoga has been shown to be good for physical, hormonal, emotional and mental wellbeing. It also provides an opportunity for taking some time out of our busy lifestyles and to be BE rather than DO! The classes are relaxed and fun! All equipment is provided. Just wear loose clothing.
Yoga For Pregnancy
These classes are for pregnant mums of 16 weeks or more. There as been much research on the benefits of yoga during pregnancy in regards to preparing the body physically, mentally and emotionally with the demands of being pregnant, coping with labour and post-natal recovery. It also allows time out to bond with your baby and meet other expectant mothers. Classes consist of gentle postures, breathing techniques and a long relaxation at the end of the class. The tutor has been specifically trained in natal yoga.
Yoga For Children
This is not the same as adults yoga! Children have hectic lifestyles and need time out also. Yoga helps children to develop an awareness of themselves and their potential, helps to promote physical and mental calm, aids concentration, cultivates self esteem and helps children stay healthy and agile.
These yoga classes provide opportunities for children to have fun with yoga postures, learn breathing techniques and relax. Songs, dancing, stories, games and puppets are used to introduce children to the world of yoga. Classes are active, noisy and loads of fun! The tutor has been specifically trained in children’s yoga.
Yoga for Mums & Babies
These classes are for babies over 6 weeks of age. They incorporate yoga postures to aid post-natal recovery and postures to aid baby’s development. Classes include singing, baby massage, breathing techniques and a short relaxation. This is a great opportunity to take time out, bond with your baby and meet other mums.
