These classes are held on Mondays during term time from 3.30 to 4.30pm for 7 years upwards and tutored by Tui Mamaki.
Children are expected to attend every class so they can be a part of the performance given to the parents at the last class.
TUTOR TUI MAMAKI has worked as an actress, singer, fire-dancer, director / performing-arts workshop facilitator for the last 9 years. Her training and experience in NZ, France and India have led her to fuse elements of physical theatre, extended voice-work, mask-work, clowning, dance and storytelling into a fresh stimulating teaching style. Through games, exercises and improvisations, participants devise original theatrical works to perform. Foundations of teamwork, listening and rhythm develop the participant’s body awareness, voice, confidence, spontaneity and instill a sense of design, composition and FUN in performance!!!
